The School of Choctaw Language public school teachers instruct up to 500 public school students on a daily basis during the school term. The courses carry a foreign language credit that can count toward graduation. These classes are brought into the public schools via the One-Net communication system, which allows the students to hear the spoken language in daily lessons given by the Choctaw Language teachers. These classes are limited to public schools within the Choctaw Nation's 10 1/2 county boundary.
